Global link is a Development Education Centre which offers Fairtrade workshops and CPD twilight courses for teachers, including the course “Fairtrade Schools Award: an introduction for primary and secondary schools”. This course is free if your school is registered with the Global Learning Programme, and has access to £500 “e-credits”. The Centre has a library full of Fairtrade teaching resources which can be borrowed by members for free. Global Link staff can also deliver a range of Fairtrade activities in schools. You can download ready to use teaching plans, about chocolate, Fair Trade and the farmers’ lives.  There is also an interactive DVD and photo pack, and the possibility of live links with children of cocoa farmers in Ghana.
